Sound Design and Modulation

Sound Yeti says the core of Ambition is its channel routing. Effects and LFOs can be separated, swapped, split, merged or bypassed from channel to channel, which lets you build layered, multidimensional harmonic textures.

Each channel has its own LFOs, with syncing and core waveforms, plus per-channel ADSR envelopes. The instrument also makes full use of Kontakt's FX and modulation engine, so the same sound can be reshaped with reactive LFOs, EQ, compression, distortion, lo-fi, saturation, chorus and delay.

Presets, Samples and Workflow

Ambition ships with 31 multi presets, 221 snapshots and 252 sample sources. The library includes 3,351 chromatic samples, and the developer lists 25 custom sampled impulse responses and three global performance effects.

The browser menu is designed for quick navigation through the presets and snapshots. The instrument is NKS-ready and works with Komplete Kontrol and Maschine, with full integration for Komplete S-Series keyboards.
