ALLURE: Modern Upright: Kontakt Upright Piano Instrument by Heavyocity

The instrument starts from a premium 53-inch upright piano, recorded with attention to its intimate warmth and character. Heavyocity captured the natural upright sound along with felted keys, which soften the attack and suit quiet, close-miked playing.

Beyond standard piano playing, the library includes prepared articulations made with brushes, twine, mallets and plucks. These give percussive and textural options for rhythmic parts and for sounds that move away from a conventional piano tone.

ALLURE contains more than 16 GB of sampled content, including 11,200 samples. The library also ships with over 95 snapshot presets, which act as starting points for different sounds and playing styles.

The instrument runs in the ASCEND engine and uses Heavyocity's signature sound design, so the piano can be shaped into more processed or cinematic textures than a straight acoustic recording.
