Sound Sources and Movement Pads for Rhythm Layering

Four sample sources each take one of 200 samples, with independent 3-band EQ, envelope and filter parameters for every source. Pitch shifting covers plus or minus 36 semitones, and each source has its own panning controls.

The Source Movement pad controls the gain distribution ratio between the four sources, shifting focus across the layers over time. The Filter Movement pad controls filter cutoff and resonance, either across all sources or per source. Horizontal, vertical and circular modulation units help shape how both pads move.

Modulation, Effects and Randomisation Tools

The Edit Modulation menu provides four LFO modules for modulating any source parameter, plus four envelope modules for controlling the dynamics of several parameters.

The Edit Effects menu includes nine modules: Chorus, Distortion, Lo-Fi (Bitcrusher), Replika Delay, Spatial (Stereo Field Enhancer), Filter, Phasis (Phaser), Convolution (Reverb) and Flair (a tuned, harmonics-enhancing flanger). The Edit Randomise page holds toggles that choose which parameter sets the randomisation affects, including sample selection. Loot Audio notes that the best performance is around 115 bpm.
