Seven Snare Engines and Their Character
Each of the seven engines has its own sound design. Sloth is based on classic analogue rhythm box style snares with a snappy attack and a long decay. Gluttony is built around Foley samples to add depth and texture. Wrath covers old-school boom-bap snares, Lust produces water-type snares, Envy focuses on noise layers, Greed creates melodic snare types with reverb controls, and Pride offers an amplitude-curve based design with a tail you can shape.
Because each engine sounds different, you can choose the closest character as a starting point and then refine it.
