Post Dubstep & Future Garage: Maschine and Ableton Live Preset Pack by Niche Audio

The pack includes 15 kits, each made from samples and patterns programmed with a mix of analog and digital sound sources, according to Niche Audio. The drums have a shuffling feel, and the synths are described as atmospheric with deep melodic character.

The Ableton Live version includes 15 drum racks and 42 instrument racks, so you can work with the drum and instrument sounds in separate layers. The Maschine version provides 15 groups that follow the same kit structure.

Niche Audio also notes that many of the sounds suit drum and bass, 2-step, dub and ambient music, which makes the pack useful beyond the two main genres.

Both versions include 13 starter projects. You can open any of them, swap samples, edit patterns and adjust live effects to shape the kit into your own sound.

The pack contains 240 samples in 24-bit/44.1 kHz format. Because the samples are included in full, you can replace any of them with your own material while keeping the arrangement and routing of the starter project.
