Portatron Preset Pack: Orbit - Lofi Ambient Dark is a preset pack by Robotic Bean for Portatron. It contains 20 cassettes with matching samples and more than 55 loop samples for lofi ambient production.
Orbit - Lofi Ambient Dark is a collection of ambient sound sets built for Portatron. Robotic Bean organizes the pack into three collections covering a wide range of moods, with a lofi feel shaped by analog tape and stompbox-style effects. The developer describes the sounds as dusky sound abstractions suited to cinematic and creative work. The pack includes 20 cassettes, 55+ loop samples and 375 MB of audio.
The pack leans on analog tape, stompbox effects, and both modular and standalone synthesis. Robotic Bean describes the result as dreamy and dusky, with textures that suit scoring and atmospheric backgrounds.
The Melodic Pack is the most musical part of the collection. It focuses on melodic material played on vintage and classic synthesizers in a relaxed style, which gives it a familiar feel that works well as a starting point for chord-based or melodic ideas.
Orbit includes more than 55 loop samples totaling 375 MB. Many loops run longer than 30 seconds and evolve over time, so they can serve as long beds or backgrounds without rapid repetition.
The loops come in several types, including drones, sequences and atmospheres. The pack offers a range of tempos and keys, so producers can find material that matches their project. Each cassette has matching samples, which keeps sound selection and loop material consistent within a preset.
