The percussion in the pack comes from multi-instrumentalist and master percussionist Carl "Butch" Smalls, whose credits include Parliament, Bootsy's Rubber Band and The Dramatics. Shakers, vibraslaps and congas are included as vintage instrument sounds.

Vocal material comes from SlimWav, who contributes talk box phrasings and vocal fills designed to season productions with funk-style vocal textures.

The pack also includes 24 keygroups that AKAI processed with outboard analog gear, including an SSL Fusion stereo outboard processor and an Eventide H7600 multi-effects processor.
