Modern Hip Hop is a preset pack from Niche Audio with 16 production kits for Maschine and Ableton Live, built around warm drums, deep bass and smooth melodies.
Modern Hip Hop is a Maschine expansion from the Niche Audio catalog, offering 16 production kits designed for hip hop producers who want a starting point. Each kit loads with a set of MIDI patterns, so you can hear the sounds in context right away. The pack also includes Ableton Live content, giving producers working in either environment a set of ready-made building blocks for beats and tracks.
Niche Audio describes the kits as a fresh take on a familiar hip hop formula, with warm, punchy drums, deep bass lines and smooth melodic elements. The developer says the MIDI patterns are programmed to add a human feel to the groove.
Because the samples and patterns are arranged as complete kits, you can audition a full idea before deciding what to change. The samples, effects, mix and patterns can all be edited to suit your own track.
For Maschine, the pack includes 16 projects, 16 groups and 15 Massive presets, along with 256 24/44.1 kHz samples. Tagged and color-coded samples make it easier to find sounds while you work.
For Ableton Live, you get 16 starter projects, 6 drum racks, 56 instrument racks, 15 Massive presets and 256 24/44.1 kHz samples. All content is royalty free.
