What Is Inside the Mainroom House Kits

The pack contains a set of one-shot drums, synth hits, percussion and bass samples, all recorded at 24-bit/44.1 kHz. For Ableton Live, the contents include 15 projects, 15 drum racks and 20 instrument racks. For Maschine, the pack includes 15 projects and 15 groups.

Each project loads with a selection of MIDI patterns. Niche Audio says these patterns let you audition the sounds in a musical setting before you commit to a direction, which can help when you are starting a track from scratch.

Workflow and Use in Big Room and House Production

Because the kits are organized as projects, racks and groups, you can start with a complete arrangement and then change the samples, effects, patterns and mix to suit your track. Alternatively, you can pull individual drum or synth hits into your own session.

The pack suits producers working on big room and house tracks who want a fast starting point. Niche Audio describes the collection as aimed at keeping you focused on the creative process rather than on sound selection.
