Basslines, Pads and Percussion Across the Jungle Range

The presets span a wide tonal range. On the warm side, the developer describes chord and bass presets in the style of LTJ Bukem and DJ Crystl, along with lush atmospheric pads and deep sub-basslines.

For heavier material, the pack includes bass and tonal percussion presets influenced by Dillinja, Photek and Source Direct. Icy, ambient textures are also included for a more experimental direction.

The developer says the sound design is inspired by 90s hardware such as the Roland JV-1080 and Emu sound modules, aiming for the gritty, lo-fi and distorted character of processed jungle samples.

Using the Presets in Phase Plant

The pack requires the latest version of Kilohearts Phase Plant, and all 50 presets are made for that synth. Because the sounds are presets rather than samples, you can open any of them in Phase Plant and adjust the patch to suit your track.

The pack does not include the drum loops or vocals used in the demo track. Those were used only to demonstrate the presets, so you will need your own drum and vocal material.
