Hybrid 3 Expansion: Sound of the Underground (Exclusive) is a preset expansion for the Hybrid 3 plugin, containing 64 presets for arps, basses, leads, pads and FX aimed at house, tech-house and techno production.
Hybrid 3 Expansion: Sound of the Underground (Exclusive) is built for producers who want a ready starting point for dance music. The pack covers arps, basses, leads, pads and FX, with an emphasis on house, tech-house and techno grooves. The developer states the presets can also be used across the wider range of dance music genres. Because the sounds are made for Hybrid 3, they load directly into that plugin and can be edited with its own controls.
The expansion includes 64 custom presets for Hybrid 3, organized by sound type. The categories are arps, basses, leads, pads and FX, giving you a mix of rhythmic, melodic and atmospheric elements in one pack.
The presets are intended as inspiration as well as finished sounds. Use them as a base for your own patches, or drop them into a track to see how a tech-house or techno groove responds before you start designing from scratch.
AIR Music Technology positions this pack for producers working in house, tech-house and techno. It is a practical fit if you already own Hybrid 3 and want a collection of genre-focused sounds rather than generic patches.
The pack is produced by Sample Tools, a subsidiary of the Cr2 Records label. The developer describes the collection as crafted by a team of producers, aiming for forward-thinking dance music sounds.
