Grassroots House: Deep House Sample Kits for Maschine by Niche Audio

The pack includes 242 samples in total, sorted into 45 drum loops, 76 music loops, 109 chord hits and FX, 70 drum samples and 60 bass samples. Niche Audio says the samples and patterns were created by DJ and producer Kelvin K, whose release credits include Strictly Rhythm, Nordic Trax and Grass Roots Records.

The developer frames the material around golden era Chicago and Detroit house and says the sounds keep the character of classic 90s gear. The emphasis is on raw, underground-leaning textures rather than polished modern production.

Beyond the raw samples, the expansion ships with 15 Maschine groups and 15 Maschine projects, along with 15 Ableton Live 10+ rack projects. Each kit also comes with a WAV set that includes MIDI files, so the patterns can be moved into other workflows.

Because the kits share compatible keys and tempos, layering a drum loop from one kit with a chord hit or bassline from another is a practical way to build new arrangements.
