Glitch Machine is a preset collection from Niche Audio containing 15 Glitch Hop kits built for Maschine and Ableton Live. Each kit includes samples, MIDI patterns and ready-to-load projects.
Glitch Machine from Niche Audio is a collection of 15 kits aimed at producers making Glitch Hop. The kits cover skewed drum grooves, twisted bass and glitched percussion. Each kit loads with conceptual MIDI patterns, so you can hear the sounds in context right away or use them as a starting point and change the samples, effects, mix and patterns to suit your track.
The pack includes 13 projects, 15 drum racks and 83 instrument racks for Ableton Live, along with 220 samples at 24-bit/44.1 kHz. For Maschine, the pack provides 13 projects, 15 groups and 220 samples at the same resolution.
Niche Audio describes the sounds as covering everything from deep, chilled psychedelic elements to funky, bass-driven grooves, with inspiration drawn from artists such as Tipper, Koan Sound, Culprate, Mr. Bill, Skope and Au5.
Because the kits are built as projects with drum racks, instrument racks and groups, you can open one and audition the full arrangement before changing anything. Each kit includes MIDI patterns, which makes it easier to judge how the drums, bass and percussion work together.
The Maschine version uses Massive patches, so you need Massive installed to hear those sounds. Full contents require Maschine 2.4 or later and Ableton Live 9.6 or later.
