Flux Transitions Expansion Pack for The Riser: 50 Transition Presets

The 50 presets focus on the moments that move a track from one section to the next. Hi-Risers and Drone Falls cover rising and falling tension, while Transformer FX and Robotic Drop lean toward effect-style movement.

AIR Music Technology says the patches suit electronic production, film SFX, motion graphics and cinematic ambience. That range makes the pack useful beyond dance music, for example in scoring or video work where a transition needs to be shaped to picture.

Each preset can be edited with the three sound generators included in the pack. The developer also notes that any MIDI parameter can be assigned to the controls, which allows custom automation inside The Riser.

Because the presets are fully editable, they can serve as starting points rather than fixed sounds. Producers can keep the character of a transition and adjust it to fit the tempo, key and arrangement of their own track.
