01Overview

Essential Vocal Cuts is a Niche Audio pack of vocal samples meant to add an organic layer to electronic productions. The developer describes it as a collection of hand-selected, named and organized vocal hits rather than a loose folder of one-shot WAVs. The pack includes 16 kits ready to load into Maschine and Ableton Live. It also contains 10 instrumental House kits made for the pack, covering drums, percussion, bass, synths and FX. The vocals come from many sources and producers, so the styles vary instead of sharing one singer's voice.

Vocal Hits That Vary in Style and Source

Most vocal packs draw from a single session, which can make the material hard to fit into a track. Essential Vocal Cuts takes a different approach. Its vocal hits come from several sources and producers, so the range of tone and delivery is wide.

Niche Audio says the samples are chosen for authenticity and vibe rather than polish, so expect raw, character-rich material rather than squeaky-clean recordings. The pack's vocal section includes 256 vocal samples in 24-bit/44.1 kHz WAV format.

The developer says the hits suit House, Techno, DnB, Dubstep and Trap production.

Kits and Contents for Maschine and Ableton Live

The pack is organized into 26 kits in Maschine and 26 Drum Racks in Ableton Live, with 416 samples in each format. Both versions use 24-bit/44.1 kHz audio.

The WAV collection is sorted by category: 256 vocal samples, 10 kicks, 30 claps and snares, 20 hats, 18 percussion, 20 cymbals, 20 bass sounds, 19 synth sounds, 12 chords and 8 FX.

If you already own other Niche Audio packs, some of the vocal samples may overlap with what you have.
