Essential Trap Drums: Trap Drum Kits for Maschine and Ableton Live

The pack contains 15 drum kits built from sampled and processed sounds. The core elements are kicks, claps, snares, cymbals, hats and percussion, so each kit covers a full drum layout.

For Ableton Live, the contents include 15 Drum Racks and 17 MIDI patterns. For Maschine, the kits are organized into 15 groups. Both versions use 240 samples at 24-bit/44.1 kHz.

The pack contains drum samples only. It has no melodic content, so you will need your own melodies, basslines and chords.

Niche Audio positions the pack for trap producers and says it also suits dubstep, hip hop and drum and bass.

Because the samples are universally mapped across all 15 kits, you can keep a groove in place and swap kits to try a different sound. This is useful for comparing kick and snare options or testing how a pattern feels with a different hat and percussion palette.

The MIDI patterns in the Ableton version give you starting points for rhythms that you can edit to fit your arrangement.
