EDM & Big Room Sylenth1 Presets is a preset pack from Resonance Sound containing 64 patches for Lennar Digital's Sylenth1 synthesizer, plus 20 royalty-free MIDI files.
This preset pack from Resonance Sound is built for EDM and big room production in Sylenth1. It contains 64 presets covering the sounds that drive festival-style tracks: heavy arpeggios and basslines, big leads, pads and plucks. Each preset has its modwheel allocated so you can shape the sound quickly. The pack also includes 20 MIDI files, all key-labeled, which the developer says can be used royalty free.
The presets are organized around the core elements of a big room or EDM arrangement. Resonance Sound says you can expect heavy arps and basslines, followed by big leads, pads and a variety of plucks.
The developer names artists such as Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix, Dyro, Dannic and W&W as inspiration for the sound, which makes the pack a practical starting point for producers working in a similar style.
Each of the 64 presets comes with modwheel allocation, so the wheel can be used for immediate tweaking during sound design or performance.
The 20 MIDI files are key-labeled, which makes it easier to match a line to the right key when you audition it in your session. Because the MIDI files are royalty free, they can be used as starting points for arrangements alongside the presets.
