AZS Colours - Sylenth1 is a preset bank of 64 trance and dance sounds for the Sylenth1 synthesizer, developed by Resonance Sound and aimed mainly at uplifting trance production.
AZS Colours is a preset collection built for Lennar Digital's Sylenth1 softsynth. Resonance Sound re-released the bank as a collaboration with Aiyn Zahev Sounds, with a new look and the same sound set. The presets cover crisp, sharp and modern tones, warmly distorted sounds, lush pads and ambient textures, and are intended to suit both modern and classic trance styles.
The bank is split across several categories: 19 arps, 9 basses, 11 leads, 10 plucks, 5 ambient patches, 8 pads and one sound effect. Resonance Sound describes the sounds as crisp and modern, with warmly distorted options and evocative ambient patches alongside them.
The set is aimed at melodic, uplifting material, where arps and plucks carry the rhythm and pads and leads build the top layer of a track.
According to the developer, the presets include modwheel assignments, and the effects are applied with restraint so the sounds can be placed in a mix with minimal adjustment. This makes the bank useful when you need usable starting sounds quickly rather than heavy sound design from scratch.
Because the bank requires Sylenth1, it is best suited to producers who already work in that synth and want a ready-made palette of trance sounds.
