What is inside the preset pack

The pack includes 100 presets: 46 bass presets, 13 pads, 10 drones, 10 leads, 10 stabs, 9 FX and 2 percussion presets. The bass category is the largest, reflecting the focus on heavy low-end sounds typical of the genre.

Each preset uses macros, so you can adjust the overall character of a sound from a few controls rather than digging through every parameter in NI Massive X.

Drum and bass sounds for NI Massive X

Developer 5Pin Media says the sounds draw on the wider drum and bass scene, citing influences such as Skeptical, Dub Phizix, Break, Noisia, Phace and Benny L.

The pack is a good fit for producers who already use NI Massive X and want a starting point for dark, aggressive drum and bass sound design. Because the presets are macro-driven, they can also serve as a base to edit rather than only as finished sounds.
