01Overview

Creator Series: DnB Evolution is the first release in Niche Audio's Creator Series, a line of production packs for Maschine 2 and Ableton Live. The pack focuses on drum and bass and covers the elements producers typically need to sketch a track, including drums, bass, pads, synths, percussion, vocals, impacts and organic instruments. Instead of mixed kits, each bank concentrates on a single instrument type, so you can audition and combine options freely.

03In depth

Sound Kits Organized by Instrument

The pack contains 20 kits: five drum kits, two bass kits, four synth kits, two SFX kits, and dedicated banks for atmospheres and pads, percussion, vocals, organic instruments, organic riffs and impacts.

Each kit holds 16 sounds laid out on the standard 16-pad format. In Maschine, the sounds are available as groups. In Ableton Live, drum sounds are provided in 20 Drum Racks, and melodic instruments are provided in their own Instrument Racks.

Niche Audio says the sounds were processed with the host's built-in effects and that melodic samples were tuned to the same musical key.

Who the Pack Is For and What You Need

The Creator Series is aimed at producers who want instrument-specific sounds to build a track from the ground up. Niche Audio positions it alongside its Genre Series packs, which offer mixed kits for complete tracks or remixes.

The full contents require Maschine 2.6.8 or later and Ableton Live 9.7 or later. All samples are described by the developer as royalty free.
