Resonance Sound says the bank was made with an emphasis on sounds with character and presence, and that patches were kept simple and effective. Basses are described as having attitude, leads are meant to have crunchy mid-ranges, and pads are intended to be silky and atmospheric. Effects are designed to sound dreamlike.

The developers also used the high-quality filters introduced in Zebra 2.6 extensively, which they describe as having both sweet and aggressive analog characteristics. Some design choices included here are not possible on less complex synths, according to the developer.

The bank contains 150 Zebra2 presets in the .h2p format. Many patches use velocity, mod wheel and XY assignments, so expression can be shaped directly from your keyboard or controller.

Drums, rhythmic effects and arpeggios are included alongside the synth sounds. The 11 basic MIDI construction kits are royalty free and can be loaded as examples or used as the foundation for new songs.
