Sound Palette: Drones, Pads, Strings and Basses
The pack is organized around four core sound types. Drones provide sustained, atmospheric beds that suit suspense cues and slowly evolving backgrounds. Pads offer broader textures for filling space behind melodic or harmonic material. Strings bring a more tonal, instrument-like sound with an unsettling edge, while basses add low-end character for darker grooves or foreboding passages.
Because the presets share a common sci-fi flavor, they tend to work together as a family. A composer can layer a drone under a string line or pair a bass with a pad to build a cohesive, otherworldly atmosphere across a whole cue.
