Acid is a preset expansion from Wavea that runs inside Flite. It is organized into drum machine kits, bass patches built from saw and square waveforms, synth strings, and performance loops. The sounds are based on multi-samples recorded from classic hardware, including the Roland TB-303, SH-101, MC-202 and several TR-series drum machines. Each preset includes eight custom macros and full modulation controls, so the sounds can be shaped beyond their starting point.
Wavea built this pack around multi-samples of vintage instruments that shaped acid house. The library includes the Roland CR-68, SH-101, MC-202, TB-303, TR-707, TR-727, TR-808, TR-909 and Juno 60.
The bass patches are made from saw and square multi-sampled single hits, which gives the presets a foundation drawn from the original gear. Special drum patches include a multi-velocity, tape-saturated TR-808.
The expansion contains 36 presets divided into drum kits, bass patches, synth strings and loops. Each preset provides eight custom macros for quick control over its main parameters.
Full modulation controls are available across the presets, so you can change how the sounds move and evolve within Flite.
