03In depth

Sounds and Content in the Abstract DnB Pack

The pack includes 13 projects, 15 groups, 43 Massive patches and 226 samples at 24-bit/44.1 kHz. Niche Audio describes the material as rolling breaks, flowing synths, ambient textures, deep bass and warped FX. The Massive patches give you synth sounds you can edit directly, while the samples cover drums, bass and effects.

The developer says the samples have been programmed to inspire quick starts in different moods. Because the projects arrive with patterns already in place, you can judge the sounds in a musical context before changing anything.

Working With the Kits and Projects in Maschine

Every kit or project can be used as is or as a template. You can swap samples, adjust effects, rework the mix and edit the patterns to suit your track. Starting from a loaded project means you can skip the setup stage and begin arranging or sound design right away.

The pack is designed for Maschine. You need the full version of Maschine 2.6.7 or later to load the complete contents.
