How VO-TT shapes vocal dynamics across five bands
VO-TT divides the vocal signal into five frequency bands. In each band, the downward compressor reduces overly loud peaks, the upward compressor lifts softer passages, and the expander lowers the quietest material to reduce noise.
The developer says the sliders for each band are usually enough to reach a balanced result. For more control, the Amount and Mix controls adjust how strong the processing is, from a subtle touch up to extreme settings at 200%.
Twelve processing styles serve as starting points for different types of vocal content, so you can begin from a preset-like setting and adjust from there.
