Sounds of the Earth built Tali Ampenhe around a recording of the Tali, a drum the developer describes as an ancestral instrument of ceremonial use. The library contains 384 Kontakt sample files and 21 audio files, so the drum can be played across its range inside a sampler.
The instrument offers eight Kontakt microphone options. Switching between them lets you change the recorded perspective and tonal color without leaving the instrument, which is useful when you want the drum to sit differently in a mix.
