Recorded Amazon Textures for Atmospheric Scoring
The library focuses on textures rather than conventional melodic instruments. The developer describes the sounds as inspired by animal calls, sounds from the rainforest and the sounds of native instruments. Several instruments imitate specific wildlife, such as the call of a monkey, frogs, crickets and birds. Others reproduce water, rain and wind-like movement.
The developer says the instruments were recorded with 3 to 5 microphones, so you can choose a wide, ambient character for background beds or a close sound with more definition for foreground detail. Blending the microphone positions lets you shape the space around each texture.
