Playing Modes, Bowing and Vibrato
Soliste CLO 756 offers three playing modes. Classic Mode uses a press and tap concept: a tap triggers a bow stroke, and pressing shapes the dynamic intensity of sustained bowing. Virtuoso Mode adds a smart back-and-forth bowing system for direct, real-time control over the bow. Expressive Bow Mode blends the two, so slow gestures sustain the bow while faster gestures engage back-and-forth motion.
Vibrato can be played manually through per-note pitch control or any compatible playing interface. Alternatively, an assisted vibrato fades in naturally on note-on or through continuous playing gestures, with a system that moves smoothly between manual and assisted vibrato.
Portamento is velocity-based and adjustable, and the instrument is compatible with Osmose's Pressure Glide for real-time portamento through continuous pressure.
