01Overview

REV X-Loops is Output's standalone loop library built around the REV loops engine, now available with all-new content, presets and snapshots. The loops are multi-layered and uncompressed, mixing forward and reverse sounds. The developer describes the sounds as recorded from live instruments, field recordings and analog gear, then flipped in reverse and tweaked. Because the engine does not require REV to run, it works as an independent instrument.

Loop Sound and Character

The library contains 2GB of new multi-layered loops across more than 20 categories. Categories include Pretty Organic, Muted Pianos, Violin Plucks, Clean and Dirty Atmospheric, Swells, Rise and Repeat, Bells and Harps, Fat and Low, Drum Set, Analog Drums and Industrial, among others.

Loops mix forward and reverse sounds, which gives you textures that work as pads, risers and transitional material as well as rhythmic elements.

Workflow, Key Control and FX

All loops auto-map to a MIDI keyboard and are tempo locked, so they stay in sync with your project. You can change the key of any loop easily and trigger the FX section from your keyboard.

The FX section includes Stutter, Reverb, Delay, EQ, Rage and Lo-Fi, with over 50 FX presets and snapshots to start from.
