The Grid holds 128 pads across 8 pages. reMIDI 4 splits a MIDI file into sections and assigns each clip to a pad, so melodic phrases and drum patterns become playable instruments.

Slice to Pads and Auto-Slice to Pads can chop files into phrases or drum hits, either manually or automatically. Changes to tempo or filtered notes update in real time. Undo and redo let you experiment without losing earlier versions, and drag-and-drop export moves edited clips into your DAW.

Scale Sync ties browsed MIDI to your project key, so clips adjust when the tonic, scale or global transposition changes. Global Transpose shifts the whole project and displays the current pitch shift.

Scale to Pads analyzes the harmonic information of the pads in your grid and suggests scales that fit your loaded sequences. The suggested scales can be mapped to MIDI controller notes for improvised melodies or bass lines. Auto Pad Name Analysis labels pads based on the chords and scales detected in their MIDI data.
