Sound Design Tools in the PLAY Synth Engine
Each sample passes through a sample start control and a pitch LFO before reaching the time stretch and lo-fi effect. A tilt EQ shapes the tone, and the signal then feeds a filter with 14 types, a filter envelope and LFO, and an amp envelope.
The effects section is a three-slot chain. Available effect types are distortions, delays, chorus and reverb. A modulation wheel offers four assignable destinations, and four easy controls can be mapped to parameters for live tweaking and automation. An audio limiter is included at the output.
