MONO: EDM Generator Plugin for Melodies, Chords and Basslines

MONO is organized around generation. Melodies, chords, basslines and sequences are produced from within the plugin, so you can move through the sketching stage without building each part by hand. The developer describes the engine as producing complex musical ideas with minimal effort, and its pattern generation is meant to produce variations you can explore.

The built-in sequencer handles pattern creation. You can shape rhythms, melodies and grooves inside the plugin, and the developer notes that you can tweak notes, timing and patterns to match your style and turn generated ideas into finished productions.

The scale-aware system is the main safeguard for harmony. Because generated content follows the chosen scale, the output stays in key, which reduces the editing needed to make a generated line fit your track.

The starting presets cover the four core content types and are intended as a fast source of inspiration. MONO is available in AAX format for Windows and macOS. On Windows it requires Windows 7, 8, 10 or later, and on macOS it requires OS X 10.9.5 Mavericks or later, with native Apple Silicon support. Both platforms need 4 GB RAM and 2 GB of free space on the system drive.
