01Overview

High-Gain Channels and Amp Character

Channel 1 provides a clear, thick and lush clean sound that the developer positions as a base for ambient and creative effects. Channel 2 covers high gain with an organic, gnarly distortion structure and a loose, chaotic character aimed at brutal tones. Channel 3 is described as the most aggressive option, adding edge to the intensity of Channel 2 while keeping note definition for articulate, cutting riffs.

The power amp tubes can be switched per channel between 6L6 and KT88, a choice the developer notes is not available on the physical amp.

Speaker Modeling and Built-In Effects

Two cabinet slots can run simultaneously, with controls for mic distance, position and angle, and custom impulse responses can be loaded into either slot. Bogren Digital says its IRDX technology uses machine learning to reproduce the difference between a real cabinet and an impulse response, so the cabinet reacts dynamically to the input.

The chain also includes a classic-style studio EQ, plus Fascination Street delay and reverb with Lo and Hi Cut controls for the reverb tail. Presets by members of Dimmu Borgir and other metal artists are included.
