Amp Channels and Tone Character

The amp has three channels with distinct voicings. Channel 1 covers clean tones through classic tube overdrive, with a glassy, three-dimensional character. Channel 2 is voiced in a British-inspired plexi style, with crunch and a present midrange. Channel 3 is aimed at high gain, with a tight low end and defined clarity.

The power amp tubes can be switched per channel between 6L6 and EL34, giving you another way to shape the response of each channel.

Speaker Cabinet Modeling and Workflow

The cabinet section has two speaker slots and a Speaker Mix slider for blending them. Two cabinets are included, Vintage and Modern, each offering five classic microphone models that can be positioned and angled.

You can also load your own impulse responses into the speaker slots. The developer describes its IRDX technology as adding dynamic speaker behavior to static impulse responses, using machine learning to reconstruct the difference between a real cabinet and an impulse response. Bogren Digital says the result reacts more like a real amp and sits better in a mix.
