One-Knob Control and Auto-Level

Magicknob is built around one knob. Insert it on a track, click LEARN, and play the track so the plugin can analyze the signal. Then drag the center knob to set how much processing is applied.

Auto-level is active by default. A hidden feature lets you drag the center of the percentage display to trim the output level.

LOOKAHEAD and TRANSFORMER Modes

The LOOKAHEAD button enables 20 ms look-ahead processing. The plugin detects signal peaks in advance so the envelope processing can be more accurate, which the developer says helps prevent transient loss. The trade-off is added latency.

The TRANSFORMER button switches on a harmonic enhancement mode that adds harmonics to the processed signal, adding presence and texture to the sound.
