HY-Slicer 2 is built around slicing. You load audio samples, the plugin divides them into slices, and you assign those slices to grid lanes. Each sampler track has 16 lanes and can hold up to 16 different slices, with every sampler unit driven by the internal grid sequencer. A re-orderable FX chain sits in the signal path, and a pattern chainer lets you arrange sequences into longer structures. It is aimed at producers who build rhythms and loops from chopped audio.

The FX chain can be reordered, so you can change the sequence of effects applied to your sliced material. The pattern chainer helps you link patterns together when building longer arrangements.
A built-in file browser and preset manager handle loading samples and saving your setups. The plugin window can be rescaled to suit your screen.
