Loopmix is a sampler-based loop remixer plugin from Audiomodern that loads up to six loops and generates new variations, stems and kits from them. It runs as VST3, VST2, AU and AAX on Windows and macOS.
Loopmix is built around loops. You load up to six audio loops and the plugin rearranges, reverses, pitches and varies them with its randomization tools, producing new remixes from the same material. It includes 1.6 GB of built-in sounds and 180 presets, and you can import your own sample folders. Audiomodern presents the plugin as useful both in the studio and for improvised live performance.
Loopmix centers on generating variations from loaded material. You can adjust sequencer, rearrange, reverse, density, volume and pitch parameters, or hit Random to let the plugin choose. Its randomization options include Infinity mode, Disintegration mode, anchor track randomization, temporary randomization and a complexity amount control.
Up to 24 automatic remixes can be generated at once, and each one can be saved or recalled with a key press.
The multifunctional keyboard covers up to two octaves and is filled with different remixes of your loaded sounds. Each key can trigger stems and sequences, which suits live use. Polyphonic and monophonic modes, playback and keyboard modes, and a snap-to-grid option give control over how patterns play back.
Stems and patterns can be dragged out as MIDI or audio, and a mixer tab and advanced MIDI CC mapping editor are included for routing.

Loopmix runs on Windows 10 or higher and macOS 10.12 or higher, and needs at least 2 GB of free drive space. A reliable internet connection is required for download, delivery and product activation. A license allows activation on three computers per serial code.
