How the Block Chainer and SEQ/ARP Blocks Work

HY-MPS3 is divided into three parts: the Block Chainer, the SEQ/ARP blocks and the MIDI FX section. The eight SEQ/ARP blocks are the core of the plugin, and each can be set with its own parameters.

The Block Chainer triggers these blocks using a range of options. Because the same blocks can be sequenced in different orders and combinations, the same setup can produce different results each time it runs.

The pattern generated by the blocks can then be passed to the MIDI FX section for further processing.

Sequencer Modes, MIDI FX and Clip Output

The plugin offers two modes, sequencer and arpeggiator, so you can work with step-based patterns or with arpeggiated chords. Chord notes output allows chords to feed the sequencing process.
