Humanoid: Robotic Vocal Pitch Corrector by Baby Audio

Humanoid's pitch section offers Scale mode for realtime correction to a chosen key, Note mode for manual correction on the keyboard display or through automation, and MIDI mode for setting pitch from a MIDI track or controller. The Synthesizer section is a wavetable engine that follows the pitch of the incoming signal and re-synthesizes it with selectable waveshapes. At extreme settings the voice becomes a synthesizer, while moderate settings add an electronic shine to the vocal.

The Transform knob blends between hard-tuned and re-synthesized signals. Shape and stretch parameters shape the wavetable, and note shift and octave parameters fatten and move the pitch.

The filter section offers high-pass and low-pass filters and a sweepable mid band that can boost or cut. Because it acts on spectral content from the analysis stage, it can make sharper cuts than a conventional filter. Widen and Warble add stereo width and spectral vibrato, and Freeze creates a stutter effect that can sync to the BPM or run freely.

The Utility section limits the note range to help pitch detection, and includes a de-esser, a gate and a smoothing control that reduces harsh harmonics for a softer re-tuning style. Buffer settings let you trade latency for better pitch tracking.
