Sound and Ensemble Options
The library offers two ensemble setups. The 4-piece brass ensemble uses two trumpets, a trombone and one saxophone, which switches between baritone, tenor and alto depending on the note range. The 5-piece ensemble for phrases and licks adds a second saxophone and uses the same saxophone switching by voicing.
The developer describes the sound as fiery and punchy, aimed at the brass character found in modern pop hits. Because the ensembles are recorded sections rather than single instruments, they suit stab-style horn hits and riffs that need a full section feel.
