The library includes over 7 GB of vowels, words, morphing vowels, phrases, calls, whispers and breath noises from five singers. Its phrases draw on Middle Eastern and Indian traditions and are arranged as a construction kit for building long, consistent performances. Vocal Sound and Character

The samples cover ethereal, breathy, mysterious and wailing styles. Singers were recorded with attention to pitch, and the library offers both non-vibrato and delayed-vibrato samples, along with staccato notes and swells.

The vocals were captured with a Telefunken Elam 251 and an RCA 44 ribbon microphone, giving tonal variation across the recordings. The library includes true legato intervals on oo, oh and ah, though these are available for the American and Welsh singers only.

Phrases, Workflow and Organization

The library contains over 1000 cultural phrases. Middle Eastern and Indian phrases are presented in a construction kit format, and the mod wheel sets the entry point on traditional phrases. A phrase generator is included for Welsh vocals.
