Sound Character and Sound Shaping
Galactron covers a broad range of sounds, from cheesy FM electric pianos and lo-fi marimba-like plucks to buzzy FM strings, sub-octave acid basses and massive chorused pads. Many sounds carry lo-fi or digital character, such as aliasing, clicky transients and digital artifacts, which is part of the instrument's retro identity.
The instrument includes 40 instrument sample maps recorded at 24-bit, 48kHz. Its effects and modulation network shapes the sampled material, and the global 3-axis (XYZ) controls are designed to make the sounds move and change while you play them.
