Resynthesis, Character Modes and Harmonies

Evoke's core is its vocal resynthesis engine, which Minimal Audio describes as producing results that differ from traditional hard-tuning and vocoding. Fifteen character modes give you a fast way to explore resynthesis profiles, from natural choral effects to futuristic voices and textural tones described as liquid or static.

For harmonies, you can use up to four harmony voices. The harmonies are scale-aware, and each voice has its own level and pan controls, so you can place harmony layers precisely in the mix.

Modulation, Effects and Workflow

Any parameter can be modulated by drag-and-drop, or through the modulation matrix. Sources include macros, LFOs, curve sequencers and envelope followers.

A Spectrum Filter sculpts the resynthesized signal, and a freeze function can sustain vowels or build drones. An Effects View holds eight effects that can be loaded into twelve assignable slots. Setup is direct: add Evoke to a track, set your scale and start working. MIDI and sidechain modes are available when you want more control.
