01Overview

End Game divides mastering loudness work across three stages so each one handles a smaller job. Enhance adds upward detail, multiband presence and harmonic density before peaks are touched. Clip controls sharp transients ahead of the limiter, and Limit sets the final level with a choice of six program-aware styles. Workflow views let you look at the whole chain, a single stage, or every parameter at once, with integrated LUFS and true peak metering built in.

How the Three-Stage Mastering Chain Works

The chain runs Enhance, Clip and Limit in order. Enhance offers Bloom, Detail and Inflate styles for upward detail, multiband presence and harmonic density. Clip offers Hard, Punch, Smooth and Loudness styles, and includes a Drive control that adds warm even-harmonic character. A Low Protect option keeps bass out of the nonlinear stage, which helps low end stay intact.

The Limit stage provides Safe, Silk, Transparent, Glue, Punchy and Aggressive styles. Each stage can be auditioned with level-matched styles and per-voicing Auto-Gain, so comparisons between settings are less affected by loudness differences.

Metering, Oversampling and Output Options

End Game includes integrated metering for Momentary, Short-Term and Integrated LUFS, along with Loudness Range, True Peak and gain reduction or boost readouts. Delivery-target context readouts are also shown.

An optional 4x-oversampled True Peak mode is available, and oversampling can be set to 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x or 16x with linear- or minimum-phase quality. Stereo and Mid/Side processing are supported. Dither can be set to Off, TPDF or Noise Shaping, with 16-, 20-, 24- or 32-bit output selectable.
