Particle-Based Sound Design and Movement
DUST treats sound as a set of particles moving through a field. Each emitter produces grains of sound, and the flow field determines how each particle is pushed as it moves, so the texture changes continuously over time.
You can write your own motion logic with custom flow field equations, which gives you control over how particles travel. Four modulation options on parameters let you tie those changes to other settings in the plugin.
The binaural audio panning places the particles in a spatial field, which suits sound design that needs movement around the listener.
