Sound Generation and Wavetable Editing
Diversion offers four oscillators with a range of waveforms. DS Audio states that the oscillators generate sound in real time with near-zero aliasing, and that every waveform has two independent parameters, X and Y, for adjusting timbre. The oscillators also support FM, RM, wave shaping and filtering.
From version 1.2, a Wavetable Editor lets you load arbitrary single-cycle WAV files and edit waveforms in both the time and frequency domains, with several effects available. Version 1.3 added sample playback with granular synthesis and audio output recording.
