01Overview

Deleight is an effects plugin from Audiority built around a stereo multi tap delay with four taps per channel. It is based on late-1990s digital delay hardware processors. The plugin has a 5-second delay buffer, seven time ranges and tempo sync, so delay times can follow your project tempo. Its user interface can be resized to suit your screen. Audiority also describes Deleight as capable of looper-style effects when loop mode is enabled.

Multi Tap Delay Sound and Controls

Deleight offers four taps on the left and four on the right, with separate Left, Right and Feedback channels. Each channel can be set to normal or cross feedback mode, so repeats can bounce between the left and right sides of the stereo field.

An LFO with 11 waveforms can modulate the delay, and channel linking lets you control both sides together. Together, these features make it possible to move from simple echoes to chorus, flanger and doubling textures using the same tool.

Loop mode adds Speed and Reverse controls, which Audiority positions for creating special effects and textures.

Who Deleight Is For

Deleight suits producers who want a flexible delay with more than a standard single-tap echo. Its multi-tap design and modulation options fit mix bus and track-level processing, as well as sound design where repeats and stereo movement are the focus.

Because the plugin supports tempo sync and multiple time ranges, it can lock rhythmic delays to a song's tempo or be set up for freer, unsynced delay times.
