Sound, Articulations and Microphone Positions
The instrument was recorded with a range of microphones. You can freely adjust four positions: FRONT, ABOVE, BELOW and RUMBLE, letting you shape the balance between the attack, body and low-end resonance of the piano.
Normal piano playing uses 27 velocity layers, and eight round robins are provided for the mechanical sounds. Sonuscore also includes Note On, Note Off and pedal noises for a more realistic feel.
The articulations are modifiable, so the same instrument can move from soft felt notes to plucked and bowed tones without loading a separate library.
