Chord Prism 2: MIDI Chord, Bassline and Arp Plugin by Mozaic Beats Free Download

The Chord Generator lets you play chords from any key or scale with a single finger. It offers several chord types, inversion and voice-leading options, and Strum, Repeat, Hold and Velocity effects.

The Smart Scale maps the notes you play to a scale that can follow each chord selection. Mozaic Beats describes it as offering different mappings for different experience levels. In the beginner mapping, the scale shifts with each chord, so you can keep your hand in one position while the right tones move under your fingers.

The Chord Editor goes further. It lets you adjust the notes of each chord step by step, which allows custom voicings, inversions and extended or altered chords. Version 2 also gives each Chord, Key and Scale shifter key its own independent Chord Editor.

Step Sequencers apply rhythmic patterns to the chords, melodies and basslines you create with the Chord Generator and Smart Scale. The plugin includes a set of genre-based presets that use the sequencers.

Pattern Generators create customizable one-finger arpeggios and melodies based on the current chord. The Multi Arp combines several arpeggio patterns into one sequence. Version 2 adds melody values to the Pattern Generators and copy and paste functions.

When you run several instances in one project, they share key, scale and chord information. Mozaic Beats says this lets you add bass, melody and arpeggio parts to a progression without choosing matching notes by hand. Mute buttons let you isolate each role per instance, and you can drag the MIDI notes performed by Chord Prism onto an instrument track in your DAW.
