Cello Waves Crossgrade from Nørdic Cello: Kontakt Cello Loop Instrument by Have Audio

The Natural source option keeps the acoustic sound of the cello. The Warped option adds a sound design layer that can be blended in with the WARPED control.

The ICE knob blends multiple sound design samples for large, cinematic results. HOST syncs loops to the DAW tempo, and Time Warp slows down or speeds up the tempo whether or not HOST is active.

The built-in arpeggiator offers five modes, up to 32 steps and four octaves. Reverse, dynamics control, four FX macros and ADSR envelope controls are also included.

Cinematic Major and Minor provides arpeggiando loops in all keys, with a granular pitched layer and a grainy effect. Film Noir offers chordal arpeggios for dissonance and suspense.

Sophisticated Arpeggios uses the same harmonic material as Film Noir with a pulsing counterpoint and added reverb. Major and Minor Waves has rubato-style loops with echoing particles.

Have Audio recommends the Major and Minor Waves instrument with WARPED and ICE at high levels and Time Warp set between 20 and 40 percent for drones and soundscapes.
